Playground gallery is operated by a group of artists and curators in the Oregon art community, dreamers who love art, make art, and eager to build a stronger community by supporting other artist students and emerging artists.

We offer show space and resources, no show application fee or sale commission. With our space, art students and emerging artists’ voices will be heard by the public and gradually build their confidence.

We offer opportunities to gain professional experience through participation at the show, mentorship and training workshops. Free workshops are provided to assist artists with statement writing, bio writing, scholarship writing and other community opportunities. This gallery is the bridge between art school and the actual art world, helping you smoothly transition from an art student into a professional working artist.
The space acts as the playground for both artists and viewers, and builds a creative community that supports and inspires each other. Combining the style of studio visit, art workshop, and gallery showing, and spicing up with music, live portrait drawing, performances, audiences will have fun participating in the ceramic wheel throwing and other activities, while artists can communicate with viewers by hosting artist talks.
